Programme

We need talented and energetic volunteers to work alongside Global Footsteps director, Morgan Phillips, to conceive, design and run our educational events.

Social, Economic and Environmental Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Our philosophy is this: Enjoy life without compromising the ability of others to enjoy theirs. To do this we need people to help people Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give. ‘Sustainability’ is about doing these five things in socially and environmentally responsible ways. We aim to show the way towards fulfilling, meaningful and enjoyable lives.

We want our programme to include these sorts of things: Swishing, Green Gym, Earth Walks, Birding, Urban Intervention, Totally Unplugged Music , Guerrilla Gardening, Swap Party, Conversation Meals, Waffle Bank, Language Classes, Chess Club, Park Kick-about, Bike Rides, Book Clubs, Talks and Spoken Word nights. This list is a work in progress, if you’ve got any ideas that fit in with our philosophy then please let us know!

Anyone can join Global Footsteps and it is run by its members for its members. We’d love to hear from you if you can help us design and run our programme.

FootSteps Renovations

We are looking for people who enjoy the odd painting party and don't mind getting the DIY kit out. We urgently need volunteers to help us make some crucial interim changes to our Rendezvous headquarters.

FootSteps Shop and WiFi Cafe

We are also always looking for volunteers to assist in our shop and WiFi cafe, if you want to gain experience in retail and catering please get in touch.
