The Green Transport Challenge - 2010 The Green Transport Challenge is a simple idea: Participants, usually in groups, travel from their home (or a designated starting point such as our Cheltenham HQ, The Rendezvous Shop) to one of Gloucestershire's county boundaries and back again using only 'Green' transport. Participants score points for reaching county boundaries and for each mode of green transport they use... buses, coaches, trains, bicycles, feet, boats, horses etc... The idea is to educate people about Green transport, give them a great excuse to explore Gloucestershire and raise awareness of the need for improved public transport in the county. You may complete your challenge at any time from Saturday May 29th up to Sunday 20th when the ‘Finale Event' will be held in Cheltenham. Full details and an entry form are available on request by emailing us on
