WiFi Cafe and Fairtrade Shop
Global Footsteps has had its home at 16 Portland Street for over 20 years. The shop and cafe has long been known as 'Rendezvous', but this is set to change as we relaunch soon as 'FootSteps'. The building is undergoing major renovations as we aim to provide a working example of a sustainable building. Working with Jacob Pot and a dedicated team of volunteers the building will take its new shape with minimum inconvinience to the public. FootSteps has four main functions: Where are we?  We are really easy to find. Our 'FootSteps' cafe, shop and meeting space can be found at 16 Portland Street. It is opposite The Cotswold Inn on the same road as 'Chicken Inn', 'Turkish Delight' and 'The Everest'. We would encourage you to travel here by bicycle or on foot if you can, or else we are on bus route 'D' which runs from Hatherley to Bishops Cleeve via the Train station. The 'D' runs every 10 minutes here is a timetable. You can walk to 'FootSteps' from any of the town centre bus stops. If you have to drive there is a large car park very close by. Here is Google map pinpointing where we are: Global Footsteps is currently trying to raise £200,000 towards the sustainable renovation of the FootSteps building.
